What to expect

The purpose of this initial visit is to provide a thorough examination and to discuss any necessary treatment recommendations.  This appointment is complimentary;  there is no fee to be evaluated. The doctor will point out any existing or potential bite problems and will illustrate how they are best solved.  It will be an opportunity to become acquainted and to have your questions answered.  You should allow 30 minutes for this appointment.  Most of the time will be spent one-on-one with the doctor.

To save time during your initial appointment, new Orthodontics patients should complete the form here beforehand and bring it with you to the office.  The more thoroughly you fill it out, the better equipped we will be to answer your questions.

Cost

The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient's problem.  After the examination is finished, we will be able to provide you with an estimate of treatment time and costs.  If you have insurance, please bring your insurance information with you so that we can give you as accurate an estimate as possible. Because our primary focus is on safe teeth straightening, long-term stability, and getting the best possible result, there are never additional fees if treatment goes longer than anticipated. In fact, it's just as important to us to help you maintain your beautiful smile after the braces come off. There are no charges for retainer checks and adjustments for as long as our patients want to continue their annual check-ups.

Insurance

If you have insurance, we will help you determine the extent of your coverage.  We accept assignment from most insurance plans and will file the necessary papers to the insurance company.  We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and in handling insurance issues on your behalf.
